Ag. Deputy Director Inspections and Enforcement
Mr. Isaac Mundia has been the Deputy Director for Nuclear Security at the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) since March 2023.
Mr Mundia started his career as a regulator in 2007 when he joined the former Radiation Protection Board as a Radiation Protection Officer. He has served in various positions in the as in-charge of Inspection and Authorization functions and Senior Deputy Chief Radiation Protection Officer.
Mr Mundia is also an international expert with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where is he provides expertise in regulatory issues related to radiation safety and nuclear security, to assist IAEA members states to enhance their legal and regulatory framework for radiation safety and nuclear security.
