An officer at this level will be deployed to head Planning Division and will be responsible to the Director General. Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable Remuneration: Salary and Benefits are those attached to KNRA Grade 4 For appointment to this Grade, a candidate must have: i. A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been in a supervisory role; ii. Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Strategic Management, Business Development, Development Studies, and Business Administration or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; iii. Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Strategic Management, Business Development, Development Studies, and Business Administration or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution will be an added advantage; iv. Management Course lasting not less than Four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; v. Proficiency in computer applications; and vi. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution. Duties and responsibilities i. Coordinating the development of the Authority’s Strategic Plan; ii. Coordinating the development of the Authority’s Annual Budget and work plans; iii. Coordinating research and preparing performance report of KNRA program on quarterly and annual basis; iv. Ensure provision of quality planning assistance and analysis services to the Authority; v. Ensure production of quality planning reports; vi. Assessing the strengths and weakness of policy options; vii. Analyzing policy recommendations from various departments; viii. Preparation of policy position papers; ix. Developing tools for corporate monitoring and evaluation; x. Carrying out corporate monitoring and evaluation; xi. Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of performance contracting process for the Authority; xii. Participate in developing fund-raising strategies and initiatives; and xiii. Preparing materials and schedules for stakeholder seminars, workshops and programs. |
