The officer will be responsible to the Deputy Director Human Resource Management and Administration. Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable Remuneration: Salary and Benefits are those attached to KNRA Grade 5 For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:- i. A minimum period of four (4) years relevant work experience; ii. Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Information Science Management, Records Management or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR Bachelors in any of the Social Sciences plus a diploma in Records Management/Information Management or relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; iii. Proficiency in computer applications; and iv. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution. Duties and responsibilities i. Ensuring security of information, documents, files and office equipment; ii. Assist in supervision of the registry; iii. Sorting and classifying documents for filing; iv. Storage, updating and maintenance of personnel records and file index; v. Controlling opening of open, confidential and secret files; vi. Custody and Maintenance of Authority documents; vii. Ensuring security of information and Records in a registry/archive; viii. Ensuring mail are received, sorted, opened, and dispatched and related registers are maintained; ix. Planning appropriate office accommodation for registries; x. Ensuring that file movement records are updated and maintained; xi. Ensuring security of files and documents; xii. Ensuring receipt and proper dispatch of mails and maintaining related; and xiii. Digitizing Authority’s documents for circulation and archiving. |
