Mr Eric Ngotho

Senior Principal Nuclear Inspector

Mr. Eric Ngotho holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Egerton University and a Master of Science in Nuclear Security Management from Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi’s School of Computing and Informatics.

With over 20 years of experience as a regulator in nuclear safety and security, Mr. Ngotho specializes in environmental radiation mapping,radioactive waste management, and personal radiation monitoring. He has completed fellowship training with the National Nuclear Regulator of South Africa (NNR) and the Tanzanian Atomic Energy Commission (TAEC).

Mr. Ngotho has authored several publications with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on various aspects of nuclear technology.

His interests include leveraging information technology to enhance nuclear safety and security, ensuring the protection of people, property, and the environment from radiation hazards.
