Mr. Isaac Mundia

Mr. Isaac Mundia is the Ag.Director for Nuclear Safety, Protection and Resource Centre at the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA).

Mr Mundia started his career as a regulator in 2007 when he joined the former Radiation Protection Board as a Radiation Protection Officer. He has served in various positions in the as in-charge of Inspection and Authorization functions,Senior Deputy Chief Radiation Protection Officer and Deputy Director Nuclear Safety.

Mr Mundia is also an international expert with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where he provides expertise in regulatory issues related to radiation safety and nuclear security, to assist IAEA members states to enhance their legal and regulatory framework for radiation safety and nuclear security.
