Vainadu Dr. Titus Ingana
Alternate to the Principal Secretary Ministry of Education.

Vainadu Titus Ingana serves as the alternate representative  to the Principal Secretary Ministry of Education.

He is currently serving as the Acting Director of Research in the Ministry of Education, where he is responsible for overseeing research initiatives, policy formulation, and implementation to enhance the country’s education and innovation landscape.

In addition to his role at the Ministry, he serves as Kenya’s Focal Point Officer on Science, Technology, and Development (ST&D) to the Commission for Science, Technology, and Development (CSTD) under the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva. In this capacity, he plays a crucial role in coordinating Kenya’s engagement with CSTD, ensuring that national priorities align with global trends in science, technology, and innovation (STI). His key responsibilities include leading the development of Kenya’s annual Issues Papers on various thematic areas as requested by CSTD/UNCTAD. These papers provide critical insights into the country’s progress, challenges, and policy recommendations on emerging technological and scientific developments.

Through his leadership, he facilitates collaboration between national stakeholders, including government agencies, research institutions, and industry players, to ensure Kenya remains at the forefront of global discussions on science, technology, and sustainable development.
